where is my stuff?
you can currently see my work at the archive gallery in the german village which is on the corner of thurman and jaeger, right across from easy street cafe. i have 4 originals hanging there.
i have 3 originals hanging in the lobby of 303 marconi in the arena district. along with those, there are 4 baseball prints on the opposite wall. see the photos below.
there are a couple paintings hanging at barcelona restaurant in the german village. this is where i have often shown work.
my prints are also hanging at g. michael's restaurant and the press grill
the coaster project
last year i began selling prints of my paintings as an affordable way to share my work with everybody. while continuing this, i decided to start a new project which i felt would be perfect as small gifts (and just in time for the holidays). i have taken images of my original paintings and fixed them onto cut wood and tile to make coasters, trays, kitchen hot pads or whatever you can think of. each is set and coated at least 3 times with a poly seal and padded on the bottom to protect whatever they are sitting on. they can be sold individually or in sets. prices range from $5 to $25. i first sold them at a small art show at barcelona restaurant where they were a big hit, so i made a bunch more and set up a table at the short north holiday hop, which also went very well. i am going to continue making more, so if you are looking for a small gift for someone, this might be it!

the beginning
so i decided to make a blog. i love seeing artist studios and to see what they have going on while working on a project, and people often ask me what i was inspired by while painting something. what are you listening to? what are you watching or reading? what artists inspire you? i think this will be a fun way to share thoughts every so often that may answer some of those questions, but more likely to create more questions, and to just show you what i am working on and where these works end up. feel free to comment on anything!
